Slight browning on roots.

Ok, so my roots have a slight browning going on.
I'm thinking maybe from light getting in through air lines.
How much light is too much?
I do have to open the res to replace cooler packs couple times a day to keep root zone temp in check, but until I build my circulation pump and cooler it's my only choice.
Maybe switch to black air line?
I have a thread on my setup on here with more detailed info.
Any comments/ suggestions?

Hello all. I just joined the forum, and wanted to say hey. I've recently started an aero system growing super skunk. The system is in a 2x4x6 tent. I have just recently added ac to the tent piped 8n through the intake duct, and controlled with a bn link temperature control. The tent stays...

This one line going in. There is another on the other side. This one is to draw out nutes to test, and the other is the air line for the sprayer.

From what I can gather on your other post, this is an LP aero system, yes? It looks like the medium in the net cup is rockwool? If the rock wool is constantly staying wet, that is not good. It will cause root rot and damping off of the stem.

Hmmm. Interesting. Didn't think about the Rockwool moisture, as it does not stay saturated. Slightly damp but not saturated..
Should have used hydroton, but thought about it too late. Pretty sure she's not coming out of the Rockwool at this point.
And yes it's low pressure, but with the ultra fine mist of an hps system.
Don't know if you were able to view the video from the link under the pics, but it shows the fine mist.
Just didn't think it would keep the Rockwool wet enough to cause a problem.
Guess I'll just keep an eye on her and wait and see what happens.
