Skunk #1 Perpetual SOG...5 harvests every 60 days

Thought I would show people in the RIU community that the sky is the limit when it comes to your harvest schedule, I see all these threads about a pound every three weeks, a harvest every two weeks, etc, etc....Decide how often you want bud and how much you need then do the numbers to figure out how many stages and how much wattage you need to fulfill your care requirements:leaf:

5 Harvests every 60 days does not sound like much of a difference but over the course of the year that is 30 harvests...

Compare that to 26 harvests for those harvesting every 2 weeks and you can see that 4 additional harvests is a 15% increase in annual yield.
Not bad...that's quite a bit of extra patients you can reach when you add it all up.

Hope this is inspiring and educational...

looks like a nice set up.. how do you like the flood and drain? seems like alot of water waste or do you re circulate the same water all day?

how long do you veg for? i like this set up. Bc you save so much energy growing the small flowering clones under the smaller lights. thats in genious. How big is the room? Your probly running 5 thousands watts? are those 600s ? or two 600 and two 1000s? and then the 400 for the clones and two t5s for the cuttings?

I veg for 12-36 days after clones have rooted...that depends on lots of factors.

Both rooms are about 13x13...average size bedrooms

Veg 1400W
Flo 4400W

They are 1000's and the HO floros (one in veg and one in flo) are 400 ea.

Its a drip system and I love it...Each table is on a 70 gallon res and it gets topped off a couple times per week...changed every 10 days or so.

So overall water consumption is about 100 gallons a per week per reservoir :bigjoint:

so if you veged for 36 days how would you get a crop every twelve days? you need to get some moms dude. 5-10 moms could do 64 clones every two weeks. You should change the middle stage lights with 600's then after they go to the 1000watts. you will save energy. you would save enough to get those momas going. 400 watt mh and a fan.. nice show tho. Do you only have three cycles?? you get a crop every 20 days dont you haha

I have three veg phases... after the clones are rooted in trays with humidomes they go into an aeroponics unit for twelve, then under the 400W floro for twelve where i take the tip after the twelve days then they move to the left side of veg tray under 1000W where they each give me a couple more clones in the twelve days they are there.

They go to flower immediately after taking cuttings and end up with a few main leaders but not bushy thanks to the sativa genetics...sometimes i have 72 clones going and sometimes I have several batches worth...right now I just finished several batches worth of cuttings and wont take anymore for a week or so till what you see in veg is ready for a pass

Doesnt matter if all your flowering ladies had the same amount of veg time as long as you feed flower every twelve days you get a harvest every twelve.

Sometimes I have to go to flower after 12 or 24 days of veg because I am running out of or waiting on clones....this system means every plant I flower was a mum dude;-)

I will take you through it so you understand...I cut clones...these are the last of a batch I cut 14 days ago today...that's why they are the only ones here...the rest of the crap is from monday's chop that you saw hanging in an earlier pic

Then they move here for twelve days...under regular floro from HD they dont grow much up top but the darkness in the tub allows for great root development during their stay....again this is partially filled because I am still hardening off the last few dozen.

First stage of flower also the last stage of flower....I use this stage to flush the most mature and to start the youngest....5 days the new ones stay here....then the whole room rotates...putting the most mature in this same spot for 7 days

Hope you understand this concept it is what gives me my flexibility
