Single Shot Garden Hydro bucket

Hey All,

Wondering if anyone has used these before, Single Shot Garden http://www.rambridge.com/products/garden/hydroponic/hsupplies.aspx

I got three of these and am going to attempt my first grow with them.

My worry right now is air, once the roots grow out and hit the bottom of the bucket they will be submerged full time (just the lower roots) other then water changes, I am thinking of adding some air stones to try and make sure there is lots of O2 in the water for these roots that will no doubt hit the bottom of the bucket with in a couple weeks.
From some other threads I have been reading adding some (small amounts) of H2O2 will help with a couple of things, one kill pathegens, and second once it starts to break down add O2 to the water. Do I have this right?

Seedlings are going into the room Friday so if anyone has any advise for me it would be appreciated!

if u are going to add air pump and air stones to the container u might as well make your own and it will be cheaper. get 3 X 3 gal buckets plus lids and then buy air pump and air stones and cable and then 3 net pots and then pic your medium :) alot cheaper and probably better

Thing is I already own these, so no additional costs, I just want to know if I am thinking correctly about the water and air issue. These use an air pump to blow the water up in a drip system so there is some, just not a ton of air being put in the water.

The only other thing I can do is frequent water changes and that already seems like its going to happen, I will just have to see how it goes I guess.

Next grow I am already thinking of building a better hydro system, something simple but can accomidate at least 4 plants and will fit in my 2x5x8ft closet. I would like a system with one res to deal with rather then three buckets with plant in them to deal with. Will be much easier for water changes and for testing water.
