Hey all!
First time posting here and was wondering if I could get some advice. I have a 2 plant setup in a RDWC setup.

Dying Plant (Minimal Root growth)

Healthier one (lots of root growth)

Details:
  • Photoperiod Bruce Banner seeds
  • RDWC setup with around an inch of space from netcup to bubbles.
  • Hydroton/Leca
  • 16HR day cycle
  • PH 5.5 (i use PH down when it hits PH 6.5 by adding directly into reservoir)
  • Flora Trio + CalMag + Great White Beneficial Bacteria & Fungi
  • PPM 700~ EC 1.2~
  • New leaves are darker green but are showing signs of yellowing on dying plant. Other plant seems fine

The light is a bit yellow and makes the plants seem more yellow than they are, from what I can see the plant on the right (the dying one) has major yellow discoloration compared to the healthier looking one.

I have a humidifier next to the dying one, with PH 7-8 water from the tap... is this what is causing the issues maybe?
I checked the root systems, the one on the left (healthy one) has explosive root growth, where as the dying one not so much.

I've added some tap water to ease off the nutrients and dilute the solution with no luck. Been monitoring both plants for about a week now, the dying one is getting worse and the healthy one getting better by the day.

Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

Looks like you burnt it once about 10 days ago. New growth looks good. Probably didn't like it's first full veg feed that much
