There are people who advocate 1-1-1 ratio all the way through. Give it a try. Then pick up something with a higher P, like Grow More Hula Bloom (0-50-30) or Hawaiian Bloom (5-50-17). You could add a little of that in flower to increase your ratio to something like 1-1.2-1 in early flower, working your way up to 1-2-1 in the end. See how that compares to 1-1-1 all the way through. You could also try a generic bone meal. That's slower acting. But, if you used it as a "tea" with your nutrients, it might work. (I've been thinking about trying it instead of synthetic P boosters.).Hey, just got myself a 7-7-7 fertilizer. Any advice/expiriece for using the 1-1-1-type fertilizer for the whole grow cycle?
Yes, just make SURE the plants receive AMBIENT LIGHT. If you're outdoors, that's easy to do, but indoors, you really must use a Powerful Light Source. I run a 400w HPS in my 3 x 2 ' closet space. Amnesia and Durga Mata II, almost 3 wks in -Thanks, yeah I know it is just that I don't have much of a choice in my region, and most of fertilizers available are some wierd stuff like 10-7-9. So I chose this 7-7-7 as a middleground - not too much of anything.
This is a very small grow and I don't expect much. Under worse conditions(just 10-7-9 all through) I managed to pull half an ounce dry. This time I expect anywhere between 1/2 and 1 oz.
And the actual question is - is there anything different I need to do during flowering, than if I was using proper nutes?
