Simple question about *clones*....PLEASE help!!

I took a few clones off of my plants when there were in the growing stage, but they're not doing so well (REALLY wilty leaves....??):-( One of the plants i have growing is a White Widow clone, and I really want a clone off of it to keep the strain, ya know?? But my now adult White Widow clone is almost in its 3rd week of flowering (small little buds on the tops), can i still take a clone from the bottom of it??

Please help....

Yes, you can. You may want to take several. The further into flowering the plant is, the trickier it is to root the cutting. It can absolutely be done.

clones concentrate all the energy into developing roots. best way i clone is with a sprayer setup using a solution instead of gel. this also allows you to add a little nitrogen to promote recovery after roots start to show. if its the bottom leaves, its natural. the flowering clone-yes, but its best to take clones from new growth, since the new growth is a flower, you have to take a clone from old growth. you wouldnt want to cut your main cola off.
oh and the flowering clone will go into slight shock from being transfered from 12/12 to a different light cycle. dont keep the clone in the dark too much if this is gonna be your mother plant.
