Simple Light Question

Currently have a 400 watt hps setup, I also have a 400 watt mh just laying around, what benefits would there be to adding the 400 watt mh to my flowering room?

My veg room simply runs on T8's.

is there a point in this or would it just be an extra money drain?

Well, you're talking about double the lumens almost, not to mention a mixed spectrum, which they love. Doing so would probably almost double your yield.

will your yield increase, almost guaranteed. will your yield warrant the extra power usage? that totally depends on how good of a grower you are, and how much that extra stash you get out of your harvest means to you.

add the MH to the op for the last 3 weeks of flowering... the increased UVB will make your buds get that nice frosty look......

yeah for sure the spectrum will be better, but i mean your budding wattage is gonna be how much more than the veg wattage? 800w might be a bit overkill, it depends the number of plants u got, etc

hehe i wont lie, lighting was the first thing i did TONS of research on (and still have much to learn). so when i see a thread on it that i may actually have some valuable input on, i try to chime in =D
