simple diy sour diesel

ive been wanting to do this for awhile & ive finally rounded everything up I was gonna use my homemade waterfarm /dwc I made last summer but I've decided to build another one as well as the Scrog & my plant stand & share with everyone as we go I'll be using gh nutes & a simple schedule I have another grow but my goal is to build this one out of common stuff & make it work I'm not rocket science material so I'm sure by the time it's all said & done I'll screw a few things up the plant I've had a couple of weeks it is sour diesel from dark heart nursery,the bucket was a mayonnaise container from a local restaurant & a 6" net basket is our starting point my goal is to generate some product , share the experience & have a good time doing it with a low tech approachIMG_1254.JPGIMG_1256.JPG IMG_1257.JPG

she seems to be adapting to her new home today I'm gonna put in a fan & a thermometer humidity then on to build the Scrog that hooks to the milk crate she is sitting on but so far everything is working as it should I have the 250w. bulb in for now later on I'll switch over to 400w. added a fan , thermometer & humidity gage just a few creature comforts I'm thinking this has all the earmarks of an aggressive growing plant even this early I can see some growth she was 10" when I put her in still only 10" but leaves & main stalk are largerIMG_1305.JPGIMG_1304.JPG IMG_1303.JPG

this has turned into my main grow as for now the led room sits idle I've had a lot of problems with humidity & powder mildew so I'm spraying as a precaution I've got to build my Scrog as she is crying out to be trained tomorrow is one week since I've started this grow & so far it is exceeding my expectations I'm gonna clone her next week IMG_1338.JPGIMG_1334.JPG

today is 1-week & im happy with the progress thus far now I'm gonna start tying her down to the screen as she starts growing instead of bending the limbs & tucking them under which breaks a lot of themIMG_1344.JPGIMG_1345.JPG

for just completing the first week she is doing good I'm using the 250w setting & bulb for now when I flip I'll put in the 400w.bulb turn the ballast to the 400 setting for hps I really like this setup & my only regret is not having a 3rd. option of 600 w. I have a dimmable ballast but I don't care for it I prefer to use a bulb to its full power I don't like to dim them IMG_1346.JPGIMG_1347.JPG

not sure what the percentages of indica/sativa are in this but the leaves are getting fatter but she seems to be a stretcher I'm happy so far with her development IMG_1348.JPGIMG_1349.JPG
