Silly Question

Do you honestly need to have a ppms and ec reader in order to grow in a aeroponics environment???

I know this is a silly question, but its my first grow and i'm thinking about doing a aero grow and dont want to invest a lot of money in equipment.

That's not a silly question by any measure.

If it's your initial attempt at aero, I would highly recommend buying a meter. But, you don't have to spend hundreds of dollars on a fancy combo meter (although I could think of worse things to spend money on). You can find a decent PPM meter on the interweb for a reasonable price and it will be invaluable on your first few aero grows.
