Silica nutrient question

So I have been enjoying using TPS nutrients and have good success with them so far. When browsing the nutrient line last night I noticed that they have a nutrient that is silica. As far as I’m aware that’s just rock dust. I get that their must be minerals in rocks but is this a nutrient I should pass on or is silica really going to help produce lush and strong plants??

I like the additional Si in a feed regimen. It helps with stress, uptake, and pest/pathogen resistance.

If you do add it to your feed, be sure to adjust you PPM/EC for the added K.

Most Si products work great as a foliar too

Thank you for the informative reply. I have been happy so far with this line of nutrients and I’m going to go ahead and order the silica.

Concentrations vary wildly between all the different si products.

Silica is incredibly important for plant health and trichrome production, and if you goto youtube and look up Dr. Bugby on maximizing yield for cannabis, he will tell you all about it buddy. I am trying out horticultural pumice for this reason, a sort of "on demand" source for it, plus added drainage and other volcanic stuffs.

Awesome!! I appreciate pointing me in the right direction my friend. I will go do some good ol studying on this matter. Will update results of its use in my grow journal down the road. Stay high guys
