Signs of a femalte plant

**After posting this i realize that I am a pothead. FYI: FEMALTE=FEMALE** Please don't judge me i swear im edumacates

So I'm only day 5 into flowering, but looking for the tell tale signs that it's a female. I've attached some pictures that I've used for refrence but really cannot find anything on my plants that show either or.

Here are some of my questions:
-Where exactly are the bud sites going to be on the plant?
-How early approximately into flowering do you start to see sex
-My plants SMELL like bud every-time I come home, more and more, does that mean its most likely a female or does that happen with Male plants too?

I know how it is for some of the newer growers who are eagerly anticipating their first view of an actual marijuana flower. Well, this is what it looks like, play your cards right and you'll have thousands of these hairs clumped tightly together and covered in crystals that will smell so nice. Don't worry, it's coming.

Eh, the wait is hard. Not sure what I'm seeing on my plants but I'll stay patient and keep checking. Thanks for the pics that really helps.

Any idea about smell, is that a early sign that its female?

Not really, males can stink more than females. It's more plant-specific, and often strain-related.

The smell of the plant has nothing to do with whether it'll get you high or not. The aromatics are dependent on the terpenes in the plant.

Hemp stinks too. Negligible THC content, though.
