*sigh* Is THIS enough light??

420watts of cfls for 10 plants? with freshly painted flat white walls,
four 105watt 2700k bulbs over 10 plants in 8^2 ft?
Is this enough to get good results from auto-flowers? thx!

well. 150w is supposed to be good for 4 plants in a 2x2 area = 4sqft .. marginally a 3x2 area = 6sqft

so double that = 300w you could get 8 plants with that many lights.. 400w means you could probably comfortable get 10 plants

the size of the area DOES matter though. even with 400w if your area is too big its pointless.. cfls have to be close to be effective. 8x2 = 16sqft... that may be TOO big.. but keep the lights close and you shouldnt need that much space. ..

I was planning on hanging the bulbs in the center or so to be right over the plants (on a 4-way splitter)
So I'm set on lights? yay

yea thats no where near enough man. Im grow three plants and im useing 512 real watts

Ive got 9 plants under a 1k watt hps and i still think they need more light.

doesn't a 1000W hid cover a 3x3 area?-

im using 6 5000ks for one plant. just to be on the safe side.
