First time growing, trying to feel it out before getting into anything to serious. Bag seed couple regs and mids. (Plan on ventilation and better lighting for flowering if I can get that far.)

Made the mistake of using clear/ undersized (9 oz) party cups because I had some on hand.

Then discovered my distilled watered may cause deficiencies due to lack of minerals so I switched recently to filtered sink water left out at least 24 hrs. I don't have a good Ph tester (cheap 3 in 1 moisture tester and pool Ph sticks) which only give me a round about idea of where the water Ph has been. Distilled showed 7 so neutral and my left out filtered water show around the same.

Day 12 -
2ft 4 bulb T5 (running 24 hr) 3~ inches from tops
cheap oscillating fan (running 24 hr)
75 avg. temp, 50% avg humidity
FF Light Warrior/ FF Ocean Forest/ Perlite (very little OF in the mix)
5 1/2" x 5 1/2" square pots (transplanted from rapid rooter/ 9 oz cup with some root damage)

My issues are my plants are often droopy, some bounce back from it and some have not. I water every 2-3 days, I had run off when in the small cups, but I haven't watered them until it runs off in the square pots. Because I think they are small for that amount still.

Other issue is yellowing of some of the leaves on two plants and black/ brown spots on one of those plants. This started after the transplant so it may have to do with the roots being damaged. Any advice on how to move forward would be appreciated thanks.

You might want to back those T5s off a little, to like 6". (I hung 4 more off the sides)

I like the Black 5 1/2" ers. I transplant to rose buckets after them.

Oh BTW your babies look fine, they are fix'n to take off. Remember many of the "2 week olds" you see here are clones.

OK , If its not overwatering and its not your soil. FFoF is a very good mix. I think it might be pH nute lockout.

I had run into a similar problem. My young seedlings which are the same age as yours were showing yellowing and had
brown spots on them. I tested the pH and it was <8.0 . At that high of a pH almost all the nutes are locked out and not
are not accessible to the plant. Two days after balancing the pH all 3 of my plants recovered and showed significant signs of new growth. Get you a good pH tester kit , something like this:

http://cgi.ebay.com/GENERAL-HYDROPONICS-PH-UP-DOWN-TEST-CONTROL-KIT-8-oz-/180492155928?cmd=ViewItem&pt=Fertilizer_Soil_Amendments&hash=item2a062bbc18

With this you can test your water pH. I hope this helps. good luck to you and your ladies.

Peace and positive energy to you.

Nute lock... one of these days that diagnoses will be right on, but not today.

Sit back relax and LEAVE THEM ALONE! Your biggest mistake right now will be over watering.

Thank you both for the quick replies. I will pick up a tester to check the water in case its off.

Should I water every 3 days (ph corrected) until I get run off from these pots or would that be to much for these lil ones right now?

I backed them off from the light, maybe they won't dry out as quickly now as well.

Do not water every 3 days until U get run-off, that will be keeping your girls very wet!

Not to hijack, but I am wondering about this 24/0 schedule.. Is that really good for them? I mean don't plants needs SOME downtime to "re-charge" Don't get me wrong your girls look way better than mine did at 2 weeks but U also have a way better set up and lighting than I did

I think you are right, these pots are pretty deep for my plants right now so watering until run off would still be alot for them.

My Ph was off when I tested it, even the store bought distilled. Corrected it to around 6.5 and added some CalMag. The yellowed plants look a bit better. The droopy ones are around the same and my biggest one has started to spot and dark on some of it's leaves. Any ideas?

Second time watering with distilled water corrected to 6-6.5 with CalMag. All times before were with Ph off 5.5 distilled water and 7.5 filtered water.
Used Grow Big last night seedling dose with corrected distilled.

Still having drooping issues. Some lower leaf yellowing and some of my plants are spotting brown that werent before. My biggest one looks a little different spotting and discoloring than the others. Its leaves are also very stiff feeling and some of them have twisted a bit. Hoping that now my corrected Ph with CalMag will fix the problems, just maybe need more time.

K finally an update. I've lost all but one plant. It more or less bounced back from the ph issue and now I have another problem with it. Its about 6 weeks now and I think its showing early signs of being female under 18/6 light. Its new growth is yellow starting with the tips and some are brown. I used seedling strength Grow Big on her twice now two weeks apart.

Some of its leaf tips are turning brown and curling a bit now. Very top growth looks okay though. Can anyone help or confirm if its early sexing?

Yes, bag seed is seeds from bags of green.
