SHOULD I TRANSPLANT! Week 4 of FLOWER

Im in week 4 of flower , and im wondering if i should transplant my plants. Theyre flowered going good and healthy but i feel if i transplant them it will boost them. Im not very sure my first grow but i was going to go from 5 gallon to 7 gallon, 25/coco coir 75/living soil, And then just water the following day, i need tips !

If you haven't yet, yes think you're supposed to transplant while still in veg. It might be too stressful on the plant .
 
I'm a newbie myself, but I feel like most of what I read says not to transplant during flower. I've seen people advocating for transplanting right before flipping to flower. It definitely looks like its roots have taken up that whole pot. Btw, I'd recommend clearing out those leaves that are lying on the soil too to help combat against pests

Are you out of nutrients? The only reason to do that now is if your out of nutrients and adding soil is your only option. Otherwise finish her where she stands.
 
I think you should show us the rootbound ball to first see if it is required. Then we will know if it will be worth it. Think of it as adding dirt to the bottom and the sides. It won’t stunt it
 
It can be done. And it can be done without hurting the plant. But your plant should be fine in the current container. Just topdress with your living soil if you want to give her something else to work with on her way to the finish line. Then you can still use your leaves as mulch to help keep the top hydrated.

would top dressing soil with dry amendments suffice in this situation?

I would just use the soil you were going to transplant into. Too much of the wrong dry amendments at this point could cause more trouble than good. The living soil will have things broken down to where the plant can already use them.
And if that's a five gallon container it's in now, you should be fine even without topdressing.
 
ive only done it once and had no probles at all, no twice, just done it to my hindu kusjh too and she continues to flower nicely. i can ionly go by experiance
 
I have done it plenty of times no issues at all but I wait till they are really hungry makes it easier to keep the root ball intact I grow in air pots and I don’t disturb the roots at all
 
I personally would just leave it as is. The plant is more focused on producing buds so transplanting may hurt your yield and quality.
That 5gallon should be good :weed:
