Should I top?

I topped my very first plant at that height! My buddy was like top that shit lol... I was just planning on growing it, but once I did my first topping, it was on! I just started a grow channel on YouTube documenting the whole thing you should check it out if you want, shows the progress of how she turned out being topped at that height!

Yes, just under the 3rd node. Leaving 2 nodes. Leaving the extra stem above the 2nd node will help with the main stem from splitting.
Thanks, would it be safer to top above that? I like the idea of a shorter plant but I don’t want to stress it too much

Honestly no i would not top it. I prefer LST you should just tie a string around the top and stake it into the dirt to bend it over. No need to damage and stress plants when they are small

Yeah, I'm the same. I don't see a point in topping, unless you want to slow the plant down.

Yep...I would too and then used LST. I highly recommend this technique...above the 2nd true node

I’ve been watching a lot of YT vids, and it seems like if I just pinch the topmost growth off, and then LST, I’ll be in business. Is this the right way forward? Am I too young for that still? Advise would be helpful. This thing keeps growing bigger every day and I don’t want to do it too early or miss my window.

The 'window' is between days 14 and 20 from when the first true leaves appear. Here's a good thread on topping autos.
