Should I switch to 18:6?

Hi,

I switched to larger tent after 40 days since seed.
Flowering is in the start.

I added another 120w quantum light.
Now every plant has its own light, so it actually its double the light.
Only one board is UV .
lights are 60 cm from top of the plants.

Lights was 20:4 till now.
Should I change to 18:6 now that its double the light?
I don't want stress the plants but I read that a lot of ppl are using 20:4 for auto flowers.

Strain is Auto Northern lights from Nirvana.

Thanks

Try to get a light reading with that “Photone” app if you have a iPhone, alternative is to dim the light to a safe level and creep up every day watching for signs of light stress

Great idea! so simple and I didn't thought about it...
Its 24500 LUX +- for each plant... from what I read I am totally in the safe zone, right?
I think I can even lower the lights a bit as I see that for flowering 45,000–65,000 lux is the recommended range.

The temperature at the canopy should be about 80f for leds also, colder can stress it with lots of light at the same time

theres no reason to change light cycle times unless your going to save some cash on lecky, you will get more green growth with the extra dark time.
i grow on 24/0 all the time, unless its a flowering tent, then its 12/12 obviously.
but just bexcause you have a new light, theres no reason to change light hours unless your saving money on lecky

Look bro everyone has a different opionion. I've noticed with my LED's my plants are happiest in the low 80s with 50-70 humidity.....so I shoot for that.....
As far as plants dropping you are supposed to ease them into the light, you're readings aren't that high, but I've noticed without CO2 that my plants start looking a little stressed at 50,000 LUX+ so i keep it just under that.

With that said lights shouldn't cause dropping usually that's a watering issue, either under or over...I've noticed (at least in my plants) that I'll see bleaching at the tips of the leaves closet to the top of my plant as my first symptom of light burn...usually something that is happening all over isn't from the light, that usually affects the part closest to the light. I'm on my first grow in a long time so I could be wrong, feel free to follow along with mine in my signature, we can screw up together!!

By the way, I start my garden with the temperature in the low 60's for the first hour...to an hour and a half to get my one single dwc hydro bucket to 65 degrees and then I let the tent warm up to the low 80's and let the water temp creep up to 73 or usually right before lights out I run the ac for another hour drop the temp back to 68 and leave it, I wake up water temp is usually 70-72 so I repeat.... my plants look fine... 16 days veg and Day 7 of flower.....

Now I designed my grow a certain way to get the absolute most out of my light, I don't know if it's right or wrong..but its what I had in mind, GL!!!
