Should I keep sprouting plants under light?

Hi all!
My autoflowering seeds have both shown roots (wet paper tower method) and I've planted them in small pots, so I was just wondering what to do next? Sorry if this is obvious but all the guides skip the stage immidiately after germinating.
Do I stick them under 24/0 lights? Do i water them? Do i do anything else?

I have a little setup with 1x 300w CFL (this bulb is fucking HUGE)!

Thanks

keep humidity up, soil should be moist but not soaking. they don't need alot of light untill they sprout.

As soon as you see those little leaves, they need the light! It's okay to keep it 6 inches away until you see 2 nodes (where what look like "real weed leafs" start to show up and after that another set), then it's in the vegetative stage. Don't water it more than once every 2 days.

Thanks for the help guys.

The 300w bulb dries the soil out really fast, I have to water them twice a day to keep them anything other than bone dry. The light is currently about 3 inches from the top of the pots, so I'll raise it about 8 inches to avoid this then.

I plant my seeds under lights, or in the sun...the heat helps the seeds germ...with a CFL there isn't usually a whole lot of heat so there might be no point in it..
