Should I harvest?

My AK48 lady has been flowering for 44 days. 50% of the pistils are orange and the trichs are 50/50 clear/cloudy. I am going out of town on day 49 for 7 days. My question - should I chop before I leave or set up a drip watering system to water while I'm gone. I hear the ripening can happen super fast and I don't want to miss it while I'm gone.

We need pics to determine if its ready.

i finds it's always better to cut late then early. they only get fatter.

50/50 trichs will get you a real nice cerebreal high. 7 days I think you would be ok. Just make sure there are no Amber trichs before you go and I doubt there will too many when you get back.
\ My bad I re read and see you have a few days before you go, so double check before you go and make sure you dont have any amber trichs, if you do you have about 7 days before cdm starts the take over.

It should be fine a week is no big deal. The old credo for growing goes: when you are absolutely sure it is time to harvest, Wait a week! Have a good time and look forward to what is waiting back home!

I ended up chopping on 7/6 as I was too chicken to leave it for a week. I smoked my first taste last night and it was absolutely awesome. I started off with a tiny bit of paranoia (probably because I haven't smoked in years) but then moved quickly into total body high with a massive case of the giggles. I was flying high watching 'Earth Biography' in HD for about 4 hours. This was my first taste of homegrown ever and it was great. Thanks for all of your great resources and advice RIU.
