my babies are 72 days into flowering, which is almost 10 and ahalf weeks. they were only suppose to flower for 8 to 9 weeks. iv been waiting for the crowny on 1 of my babies to change colour but all the rest of her is changed and really frosty looking like its ready to harvest, should i harvest her all wait for the crowny to change,

my other 2 have really big buds on them but look more like bush buds and dont have as many trichomes on them yet. they are starting to smell really sweat thou. also there still sprouting buds from the bottom and she still has a lot of white hairs.

should i harvest them and try again or should i give them more time. cheersbongsmilie

The most accurate/legit/potency-based way to determine when to harvest is to use a handheld microscope (available at Radio Shack), look at the trichomes and see if they are clear, milky, amber (as they get darker, they get more sedating/indica-like). Another way is by weight: if you can see that the bud is as swollen as it's going to get, and kinda stops fattening, that's another way.

It sounds like you're close on that one plant, but the color of the "crowny" isn't really enough info for you to make a decision IMO, unless you know the strain well.

The top matures before the bottom, so you can harvest the bottom a week or two later.

Congratulations on your harvest!

Without pics it's a shot in the dark...but if it's still growing buds and has white hairs let it grow!
