Should I give this seedling a nudge?

Yeah grab 2 pairs of pliers hold the stem carefully and pull the seed shell off the top. Underneath will likely have a sticky coating membrane holding the leaves shut, peel that off aswell

Damn I was worried my intuition was right. I just turned the lights off and they'll be off for 5ish more hours. Should I wait or do it now?

Don't mess with it. Its growing roots.

After it stands up. Mist the seed shell with water to keep it soft. If the seed membrane sticks to it after the seed shell falls off. Keep misting it a couple of times a day. Keep the membrane soft. The sprout will push it off.

If the membrane sticks for more then two days. Gently help with a tooth pick. The membrane sticking too long. The sprout is stunted. It'll be smaller then the other plants by 2-3 days growth.

Personally, I wouldn't touch it. Any manipulation of any part can and will damage something important cause right now, there isn't much there.
Patience is your best tool as then you'll prob see that seedling do ok on it's own.

I feel that and don't trust myself to not hurt it, but it is on day 6 and while I can tell its developing it has stayed steady shut

It looks like the shell is on the opposite side of where the cotyledons are opening.

Looks like the only thing holding em shut is the endosperm.

Wash your hands real good, and give it a quick pinch at the tip to pull off the endosperm.

Funny, I have a plant that just sprouted that broke off one of it's cotyledon leaves.... and it looks like the secondary leaves broke off too....
I'm just going to wait. If it keeps on growing #Blessed. if it doesn't, it doesn't
