Should I cut fan leaves?

I have a question, Should I cut back the fan/shade leaves off of my flowering plant so more light gets to the buds?
I'm using a 4' shop light with 2 F40's and a
2' 7800k grow light. I do plan on getting a couple of the highest wattage CFL lowes has next week.

This question is very contentious and you will get differing answers. I have done both with no difference to the eventual yield. At the stage your plants are at now though I would definately say no. Fan leaves store carbohydrates which are very important in bud formation and growth, so if at a later stage you do decide to cut a few then make sure it is only a few.

Some ppl do, most ppl don't. I never do, just tuck them under or out of the way as much as possible. I just feel that if the plant didn't need them, it wouldn't grow them. By the way, great looking plant. Best of luck the rest of the way bro.
