should dead leaf tissue be cut off

hey i got a simple question that i couldnt find an answer to.

if theres dead tissue at the ends of some of the sets of leaves (up to 1 inch on some) would it be beneficial to cut it off or to leave it on?

no i had the ph go down to 5 now its back up to 6.7 (im in soil)
