Shortrider help needed

I have 3 Nirvana Shortriders in an aerotub that are now at about 60 days old. One is far larger than the others. It's about 2 feet tall and 2 feet wide and no signs of flower. I have the lights running 18/6 they were at 24/0 for the first 45 days. Any experience out there? Any input at all? My set up is not really made for anything much bigger than I already have. Please don't tell me that Shortrider sucks, I am a little too far down the road for that.

Some autos retain a pheno that grows like a "regular"......sounds as if you've got some of em. Strange that all 3 did it though. I would now think that Nirvana mixed up your order and sent the wrong seed.
Go ahead and put em on 12/12 to force flower.....hopefully you'll have a fem perhaps 3.... sadly, you'll just have to wait a little longer till they finish.

I grow autos mostly and have had a few grow to twice the size of others.....The only autos I had "turn" regular were from seeds I got off an auto that was accidentally pollinated by an unknown male.....but ALL autos I've received from a seedbank WERE autos.....

a friend of mine buy 40 short rider regular seeds and they not autoflower but u can easy fix that,from 40 seeds 38 germinate and onli 4 autoflower in 26days,after 6 weeks no autoflower and he change the light program from 18/6 at 12/12 for 1 weeck,they start to flower and after 1 weeck he have 23 female and he change the light program again back to 18/6,the buds explode beleavme verry agresive buds grow and onli 1 female torn in hermy,the harvest was 760grams dry yeld,pls escuse my bad eanglish .hope that this information will help u (Posted on 2/17/10)

I grow them before and all 4 of them auto-flower on me on 44 and 36 days. I think once the auto-flowering is triggered, you can flower them in 18/6.

That sucks....an autoflower isn't an autoflower if you have to "force" flower.......
As I stated before, all autos I've had showed sex on time....17-20 days....with 24/0 lighting.
Perhaps your prob is why I've never bought from nirvana and never bought "short riders".....

If the answer is as simple as going to 12/12 for a week I'm not all that upset. I just wish that I knew that a few weeks ago, I guess I should have done more reading. The timer has been adjusted to 12/12, lets see what happens.

Short Riders put me of Nirvana for life....

Lowryders and I would imagine these shortryders will grow to almost normal height if you are crowding them too much. I like it myself because you get way more bud than if it was short and stout. I just trimmed a fat LR2 that has been drying a few days. You may need to get some space between the plants to keep them from competing for the light out outgrowing each other. Good luck bigger may be better in your case as well

Lemonade from lemons? If they need a push to flower that means that I should be able to clone if kept under 18/6. I took a few cuttings before I went to 12/12 just as an experiment, could be a waste of time but, what the hell.

sucks dude Didnt read it all but i your atleast 30 days in and no hairs or sacs u dont have an auto .... it has to be on 20/4 light btw

Nirvana has some good strains but there genetics are shit ive only grew there swiss cheese to harvest and it wasgreat bud but i bought there ak-48 once was growing well had its 4th set of leaves and just stopped growing after that all 10 did this
