short height grow room

Hello there, long time lurker first time poster here. This will be my first growing atempt and I was wandering if anyone had any suggestions on growing in an area with a 4 foot height that is 6f wide by 8f long. I will be using soil and wandered if anyone had any advise on strains, lighting at such a low height etc. or anything they think I should just keep in mind. Thanks in advance, you guys are the bees knees

4 feet is godly for height... if u really want to get the most outta ur wide grow room, grow em vertical and every 4-5 nodes in veg lst that guy sideways 90 degrees (slowly if you got big stems and stalk) by slowly over the course of 2-3 days. putting them sideways will expose the budding sitesgiving you multiple fat colas that wont even hit close to 2 feet high, but will give you some fat buds!
