Try some dish soap on spray bottle and carefully spray them. If not get a wet papertowel and clean all leaves one by one.

That is one fucked up infestation. It sort of looks like white fly's, but the treatment should be the same for any pest like that, except for Spider mites. As GreenAddict mentioned, dish soap is ok, but you would be better off in my opinion using Neem oil, or an insecticidal soap such as Safer's soap, which would be my choice. Spray the shit out of every leaf on that plant, and isolate it if possible until it is under control. Please pay closer attention to your leaves before it gets as bad as it is now, it will save you a lot of grief. Good luck with you problem, my friend.:peace:

I've been using something I saw on ehow. Take four cheap cigarettes (filtered cigars with cherry flavor are my favorite) and soak them overnight in a quart of water. Filter the solution into a pan or crock pot. Boil it for five minutes and pour into a sprayer. Add a tsp of liquid laundry detergent marked Phosphate Free. Spray them from under the leaf or wherever you see them. I just blast them with it once a week and have no problems. Your case may need more attention. You might try leaving a bucket with rocks and water in it to attract birds. Birds eat bugs.

I saw one of those Moths on mine the other day. Sprayed it with the juice and never saw it again. This stuff is good insecticide and has been used for generations before they made commercial formulas.

jesus with an infestation like that grow out some chrysanthemum , extract the oils into a spray and go to town!
That or buy any pyrethrin based insecticide such as pyganic. I don't think I'd be playinmg games with dish soap solutions with an infestation like that appears to be.

I bet he could if he sprayed with pyganic or most any pyrethrin based spray since they're safe for mammals.

Looks like some juicy food for some hungry LADY BUGS, if they're not killing ur plants at a seriously fast rate. Head to your local pet store and buy like 500 lady bugs(not sure how big ur garden is). They've helped me with spider mites in the past big time, hopefully they help you too. U can't go wrong with neem oil or even dish soap as mentioned but whatever u do with the solution, try to get the whole plants dipped in solution if no flowers yet and if its not too tall yet.

Everyone did, u just didn't read his post. Btw the tobacco leaf and boiling shit never worked for me. that many bugs, if u hit them with cigarette tobacco, they'll just smoke it up and drink a pint while they're at it.

:?: What is TMV. I'm not up on abbreviations these days.

:hump: I just want you to know I first observed an Organic Garden back in early '70s. The guy had everything in this garden including weed. Back then there was DDT and tobacco juice. His choice was tobacco juice being organic. That corn he had was the best and his weed wasn't shabby either.

I read this blog the other day that stated if you wash your stuff in a bucket of water and add a couple of Tablespoons of Hydrogen Peroxide it will sterilize and wash off all residue and foreign matter. Tried it and really works great smokes great.
