Had the 1st one out of the three sprout today. As for watering now should i make sure i dont get any water directly on the plant? Or is it ok as long as you dont drench it? Should I be watering it lightly everyday? Any extra information about watering young plants would be very helpful. I also have a plant prod 20-20-20 fertilizer that I plan to start using with a light water mix. should i introduce this about 2 or 3 weeks after sprouting? Any ibreakdown on the early plant stages would be helpful? Thanks Again

I usually water lightly everyday until first set of leaves develop above the sucker leaves on the sprout. After that I cut it down and only water every other day or whenever the soil gets too dry, this happens quicker with me since I'm on a 24hr light cycle for veg. Just make sure you don't water too lightly, you want to make sure there is moisture well below the plant so the tap root goes DOWN to find the water as opposed to side to side. Don't damage your plant by dumping water on it when the stalk is still young and weak.

Put a clear plastic cup over the seedlings and that will help them get a good start too. Be gentle no matter what you are doing with seedlings. Water only enough to keep those tender young roots moist. If they dry out you are in trouble.
