shaving a leaves of resin

i was wondering if resin glands regenerate. if they do, then could i take a razor and carefully shave of the frost on the leaves to have them grow back in time for harvest?
i know its probably not possible, but id think it would be cool if i could have a small ball of clear white crystal hash to smoke before my plants finish flowering. if anyones tried it, please opine.

I don't have a damn clue, but I think you could get away with it. "Finger hash" comes to mind, which is literally just collecting sticky resin on your fingers, rolling it into a ball, and smoking it. Seems similar. I would imagine the resin would come back somewhat, but probably not full amount as before. Try it on one part or something and let us know.

i was reading in the Marijuana Botony book and it says the the stems of the trichomes are actually cells and on top of the stem are the resin secreting heads that produce resins on top of the stems. i was worried that id run the razor over the secreting gland stem cells and they wouldnt produce anymore. my girl is growing perfectly, so i think ill back off this idea and be patient about it.

I would try it on a couple leaves and see what happens.

damn, now im convinced. i guess its no different than if they were bumped up against something to make them break off....whatever, im high, so im going to go butcher some shit up.

ok. i went in there and realized that id have to scrap from too many leaves for a toke to be worth it, and i dont want to fuck my whole plant up for one bowl of premature resin. theyre only 22 days old now, so ill have to wait and make bubble hash after harvest.

Man I think YOU should chill the f out haha. It wasn't like he was gonna do it cause he needed a fix that badly... it was clearly like a curiosity thing. Jesus. And he said himself that he should wait and be patient, and that he was going to.
