sexing lowriders

So my lowriders are a little more than two weeks old, and I'm not sure how to sex them or even when to expect the organs to start showing. I can find plenty of information on regular plants, but these are literally just sitting in little pots on my windowsill, and since they're an autoflowering variety, I'm completely unsure as to what I should be expecting. They're only about five or six inches at the moment, but that's half the expected height.
Since this is my first time growing, I have no previous experience to refer to when doing this... I can add photos pretty soon. But yeah, so help, please!!

I can see these two tiny little spikey-dealies growing on the stems in between branches... Are those indicative of females?
They're already showing on three or four out of my eight plants, and I thought they may have been the beginning of new leaves, but if autos have a higher ratio of females, it could be promising. I'd put photos up, but they're quite small yet.
