Setup w/ fan

Hey guys :)

I'm trying to grow in a small closet space, about 20x30 inches -- more or less. I've got a eurohood w/light in there right now, and i just got a vortex vtx 600 fan. The problem is, I didn't know that it was going to be ginormous!
If I put the fan on the light, it almost goes wall to wall. So my question is, does the fan have to be connected directly to the light? I was considering trying to connect the fan up to the light and then try to fit it in there diagonally, but I'm not so sure that will leave me with enough space either :(

thanks for your help!

no you do not have to attach it to the light you can attach it with some ducting connected or just attach it to your exhaust vent and air out the whole space rather than just the light.

Same as stated above: You can connect the hood to some ducting and then connect the fan anywhere on he length of the ducting to the exhaust port/hole. It can be in the middle of ducting or at the end or anywhere in between. The ducting can be bent to any angle almost and the fan will still do its job, just play around with your vent/ducting,
