Setup ideas? Questions?

Any advice would be really appreciated.


I'm trying to build a little Hydroponic growing lab, but need some advice. The biggest factor is the smell. I really want to eliminate the odor and of course still build something that cheap but effective. My idea is to build a Hydroponic either using buckets or a fish tank? What do you guys think? The hydroponic will be in a closet. If I do go with the fish tank idea any recommended size to grow 1-2 plants??? Would a 20 Gal fish tank work fine?


What method do you think would work best for this type of environment?

you would be better off with a rubbermaid tote...dont want see through walls for the roots. where you gonna put this
