Setting up an outlet box in the basement

I have a crawl space that i am about to finish and seal up so air wont get out of it. I am keeping the vents accessable and possibly creating another vent closer to my grow space.

The problem is that I have no electrical outlets downstairs and I will be calling an electrician soon to come out and wire an electrical box to cover all my needs for my space.

i will be growing about 30-40 hydro plants in one half of a 700 sq foot crawl space that is about 5 feet tall.

What i need to know is how many outlets, and what type of outlets should I be installing?

It all depends on what your lighting needs are .. You could do it yourself .. Its not that hard

I agree, run the electric yourself and spend the saved money on more lights, i'd watch your humidity levels, id think they will be pretty high in a crawl space

problem is i dont know the first thing about electricity. and also i heard that if you mess w the electricity in your house that it could become "unsellable"? if it is not up to code?Is that true?

also, I was thinking about finishing the crawl space using the basement doctor. Bad idea?

I would not .. Its a crawlspace , not a basement .. its like you cant make a whore a housewife ,,it just dont work

find a local electrician that smokes green and pay him under the table ... most of us electricians smoke so that shouldnt be too hard lol.
if it were my place i would have 4 20 amp circuits run and have double duplex recept. installed on each .... 2 gang box ... 2 yokes .... 4 outlets per box
that gives you 16 total recepticles which will cover anything you may need
