Seriously considering quitting drinking!!!

Yeah... I would definately be classed as i binge drinker.... after 3 weeks with no drink, yesterday i had 6 pints in the pub watching the footie then home and had 6 cans.... I swear to god... if i had drank 2 bottles of whisky i wouldnt have had the hangover that ive had today... its a shite drug and me and its finished....

I've never been over the pond, but from what little I know as an American. Drinking is a way of life over there huh???

Dang you must be messssssed up! haha weed has always helped ALOT with hangovers-but lol I only drink on ocassion, got shit faced at a party one night-lol never again! I literally slept on a bottle or 2-damn did I hurt the following day!

Don't do it, you will start shaking and will feel like shit, you could even die if you stop. just drink every morning untill you get used to it.

Yeah... The UK and Ireland are big drinkers... Im Scottish and live in ireland and yeah... Drinking is a very social thing here... And with the ression and peeps being skint and shit...people are drinking at home more... which i know myself... you drink far more in the house... but the older i get the less often i drink... but smoking far more green....

I quit drinking about 3 years ago, I drank 6 to 12 beers a day.
Lost 20 lbs. My back dont ache anymore, my feet don't hurt anymore either. Morning are fun again.

Over here we got cranapple juice, cranberry and apple.
That shit works wonders for sore kidneys.

I never really have drank alcohol I always have thought it was poison for my body and mind... Good luck brother.

To much sugar in those types of drinks for your kidneys, try juicing 1 lemon in a glass of water every hour for a few hours... helps detox the kidneys :)

Corn silk supplements also help detox.

yeah i feel u. the other night i went out and had a bunch of martinis, got home, drank a bottle of wine, then went back out and had beers followed by more martinis. i still feel like shit & that was fri. i am going back to only having 1 or 2 drinks!

First thing i did when i woke up was off to shop for cranberry juice man... Great for the kidney pain.... Then just been rehydrating and smoking up

I was drinking whiskey and cokes pretty much until I passed out just wasted. 1/3 of the time I woke up on the couch. 1/3 of the time I woke up on the floor. And if I was lucky, the other 1/3 of the time I somehow made it to the bed. Felt like shit EVERY morning. Headache, bloated, and still feeling buzzed at 11:00am the next day. About two years I quit drinking that shit and downgraded to a bowl or two followed by 2-3 beers a night. Feeling great in the mornings now.

NORML put up a study that found THC actually protects brain cells during alcohol withdrawl. I gave up drinking myself, the headaches and sour stomachs just weren't worth it, not to mention I'm apparently a pretty angry drunk, LoL.

Good decision man... I have a wedding back home in Scotland in 2 weeks and the thoughts of the Whisky Fest that that will deteriorate into makes me shudder with fear right now...
