Serious leaf problem - help (first grow)

Everything was going fine until I noticed some of the leaves on one of my plants was looking like this:

Picture 1.jpgPicture 4.jpg
the plants were outside on my terrace till a few days ago. damage was getting worse, it has got to some of the buds as well. i can't see anything on the plant - i'd expect something quite big like a catterpillar?

edit:

Watering schedule - every 2 days, giving it 2-3-4 now once a week.
Growing Medium - soil, 2 gallon pots
What stage of growth - about 10 days in flowering
The strain is called easy kush - http://www.cannabis-seeds.co.uk/easy-kush.php
The two other plants look GREAT.

yea that thing was lunch for something! try some bug repellants, or some slick pot / barrier that bugs cant crawl up the side of. neem oil works too, tho ive never tried it

Thanks.

Well it's inside now, and i can't see ANYTHING moving on it. I'm assuming something that could take such big chunks out would be easily visible to the naked eye? I'm not sure if it's getting worse or not....also can I spray with neem after the buds have started showing or is it going to ruin the smoke?

Looks like grasshopper damage. On the otherhand it looks like the damage that cucumber beetles did to my eggplants this year. But my guess is it was grasshoppers, they munch big and fast.

I use upto and including the third week of flowering. Neem breaks down fairly well after a month.

if it's something big that's good cos it must be gone since i put them indoors i can't see anything.

thanks i'll use the neem oil if spreads any further.

people need to create some genetically modified pest resistant weed with the BT genes. but before that, i'd sit outside with your plants and swat any insect that touches it lol

not sure the neem will bother the grasshoppers--I have the same problem and have used a whole container of neem with no results--trying soapy water now --if that doesn't work then sevens or diatomaceous earth(spelling may be wrong)
