I CAME ACROSS THIS AND WAS WONDERING IF THIS WILL WORK AS HYDRO GROW?

has anyone here ever used this or think it will work? I ordered some myself to see if this thing works.

According to the pic it works well for growing Philodendrons

Theres not much difference between those crystals and hydroton, they would be heavier but easier cleaned.
