Sending through USPS?

So ive recently sent around a pound of MJ from the west coast to a state in the south west. Sent the package with a fake return address and the neighbor (on accident) of the friend I was sending this too, along with a nickname version of their name. I sent it through USPS priority express 1 day shipping and everything on the tracking seemed to be on time and meet the delivery date. It "arrived at USPS destination facility" the day of in my friend's city but the tracking has not updated since. We have called and tried to figure out if it was just lost or where it could be, but we received no help from the workers. Ive heard that some locations have a bad rep for how long they take and this location is one. But sadly its been 2 weeks since it was supposed to be delivered and still no update on tracking. I am worried that it might be confiscated. I used vacuum sealing system for the MJ and then wrapped in in tin foil (just thought maybe itd help) and then put it inside a stuffed animal that I sewed up, along with normal items like clothes in the box. USPS does have a bad rep for how long they take and how bad the tracking is, so im unsure if thats the case. If it was caught, do they show any signs at USPS that it is? I heard they send you all legal items along with a letter saying what illegal items were taken. But to me that seems so easy, like they dont even care that there was something illegal and they let you just continue on only taking a loss of your items. Would the tracking say seized, my friend get a letter, or would they do a controlled delivery to my friend? If so, what signs can I warn them of so they can deny a CD and not be caught. How should I go about my situation?

It may have been delivered but there wasn't a reciprecant so it was held. This person may need to schedule a pick up time for the package and receive it at a USPS substation. I hope you're not where they take your first born....

Too many things wrong to believe you mailed 1lb. If this is real then at best you lost 1lb of weed.

My friend suggested the foil to avoid any x-ray.. so this would make the package stick out?

welcome to RIU...pity you didn't check here first!

one can assume it was the foil that did it,

most C4 explosive is wrapped in foil, to prevent aging

hence most postal machines have some x-ray crap attached

just wait an see...!

My friend told their neighbor that there is a package coming for them, and also I did not request signature for the delivery, also tracking still says its at the facility.

Send a taxi over and have the driver pick it up and deliver it.

We arent sure where the package is. We called the location the tracking says its at and they said it should of been sent to the local post office by now, so we called the local and they said no it should be where the tracking says. They say they will look but over all no help, they dont seem to even know where it is. But if it was caught, wouldnt the system show the workers that or something?

When my luggage was delayed and searched I wasn't informed that it was seized and searched. I was givin' a form which was where to send it and my phone number.

They all work pretty much the same. It is their sworn responsibility to check for contraband. They can actually be held responsible. Believe it or not x-rays don't do well in detecting weed. It sure did detect the tin foil.

I feel like it wouldnt have made it onto the plane if so, but it made it all the way to my friends city. According to the tracking

Lots of people have missed a delivery and got a taxi to do it for them. The last time I missed a delivery I had to meet them at a prearrainged place where they do drop offs and recieve. Some store.

The only thing I have experience in is having my stuff seized and searched often. Where I live sending, transporting etc falls under the trafficking act which is mandatory jail time. I'd rather be sitting in a cruiser with 4 oz's in my pocket than get busted for transporting contraband through a delivery service. I don't get involved in federal indictment.
