hi all,

first off; GREAT FUCKIN BOOK!!!!!

My question:
In the book, 42W CFL's are used. Thats cool but what Spectrum are they? 6500K? If so, are they used trough out the whole grow(veg&flower) or does it assume you already know something about marijuana cultivation and expect you to change the bulbs to 2700K once the plant is ready to flower?

I believe this question has been answered by the author in the CFL Growing forum (it's prolly a tough search though). If I remember correctly Garden Knowm used 2700K from seedling/clone through the whole grow. Great book, opened me up to not buying herb anylonger. Although I do use 600W HPS now, I still use my CFLs for most of veg and starting clones.

There are principles in this book that apply to any grow. I bought 3 of them and gave them away, now all my best friends have 10 42 watt CFLs hanging over 3 gallon pots, lmao! Good luck w/ your grow!
