:peace:Im having a problem. a very big one.

Ordered some bc god bud and bc hash plant seeds.

Im using some basically like this http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/21BEQ8VKDWL._SL500_AA187_.jpg

Mine is vented on all sides though.

Well i put about 35 seeds in these pressed wafer looking things. added water, they got huge and waited.

well ive been waiting 3 weeks!!! im using a heating pad.

Im thinkin they were overwatered.

but really i have no idea, so can someone please help me!

why would 35 seeds not germinate?

about a week ago i dug a seed up, even though you should never do that, to see if it had done anything. It was cracked but nothing was really coming out. You could see that little white spec of hope of a plant, but nothing has poked its head up.

HELP ME PLEASE! :(

Ok so the reason i think they are not working now is because my roommate for the 1st 2 weeks of it would DOUSE them with water. The soil (talking about those once wafer things) would be constantly wet and there would be a pool of water at the bottom. Im thinkin he overwatered them.

but really i have no idea, so can someone please help me!

I wouldn't hold out any hope for the seeds germinating at this late date, but I could be wrong. Definitely try the paper towel thing.

What company did you order the seeds from, and what is the brand name on them (i.e., grassomatic, joint doctor, flying dutchman, etc.)?

I can tell you for future reference, you should pour water on the pucks and let them expand, before you put a seed in.

Also, after it expands, you should make sure that dirt has filled the center of the puck before you place a seed in it. When the manufacturer presses them together, it leaves a little hole in the center. Sometimes, it doesn't fill up, and a seed ends up going all the way down to the bottom when you put it in. It germinates, but dies from lack of light due to being down so very deep. This has happened to me, fortunately it was only bag seed.

Also, you should carefully remove the netting before planting the puck in soil. I failed to do this with a couple of plants in the past, and it caused their growth to be stunted.

But I am really curious to know the company you got the seed from, and the brand name (breeder name on the seed pack). There is at least one [allegedly] bad company/breeder that I know of who is still in operation.

Iam sorry chief, but somehow you have killed 'em all.

To germ seeds simply get a flannel, fold it in half, put it on a plate, place the seeds on the flannel, fold it over again, soak the flannel thoroughly, and put an upside down plate on top.

Every 5 hours or so, resoak the flannel, and in 2 or 3 days the seeds will sprout.

Iam sorry mate, but you have fecked it!

I don't know. Sounds more like he was sold immature seed to me. Or maybe they were too old. I mean, do you really think he killed 35?

It shouldn't be the pucks, if the seed didn't fall down to the bottom of the hole. I always use pucks, and get near perfect germination rate.

This is a puzzler.

yeah i really dont understand! i only ordered 12 of each, all feminized. they sent more than that because some of the seeds had cracks/holes in them. planted them all just in case.

also about the pucks, i made sure they all had a bottom to the hole. some didnt and i got rid of them

I would just send them a polite, calm email explaining what happened. Hopefully, they will do right by you.

Sorry about your dealio. Sux, babe. :(

My best luck has always come from a simple paper towel method, I've never had problems germinating I usually kill my plants by paying too much attention to them in the seedling phase, a habit I've finally gotten out of...
Thanks to these forums and the constant advice of a friend who grows.

Definitely do this. They sure look reputable - and especially if they have won awards, they will want to keep that good reputation. And on a huge forum such as this, they would quickly lose business.

Also I would like to say that I am in the middle of my first grow right now and thus have only done this once, but I got 12 of 13 seeds to germinate with the paper towel on a plate method. Got my seeds from Nirvana. Not the quickest shipping (it is overseas, of course - about 3 weeks total) but the seeds are good and the plants look beautiful. Also, comparing to the prices on the links you posted, Nirvana was a lot cheaper.

Good luck!
