Seedlings in 3 gallon...how much water?

Yesterday, I transplanted my 14 day old(more like 9 days if you don't count all the stunted days) seedlings into 3 gallon containers in an attempt to rescue them from their ever worsening condition. I now believe it was a combination of heat stress and underwatering.

Anyway, after tranplanting, I filled each pot with about 740 ml of water but there was no run-off. So I'm wondering how much I should be watering these young uns in their 3 gallon containers and about how often.

Mine are in three gallon buckets, at that age I usually give them around 2 cups of water, every three days or so - how often depends on your heat and humidity.

Thanks, doe eyed. Two cups is about 470 ml, right? And do you usually have any run-off?

I made a soil mix of about 3 parts ffof 1 part spaghnum peat moss and 1 part perlite, or thereabouts(I eyeballed everything). I wanted to include some vermiculite and dolomite lime but wasn't able to get them. However, it looks like my youngest seedling has already experienced some burning on its lowest leaves. I'm not sure if this could be because of the soil ph or what??

Yep 470 ml, no I don't have any run-off with that amount.
Does your soil have any time release nutes in it? Overwatering in soil like that can cause nute burn in young plants. I don't want to steer you wrong, best bet, I think, would be to take a couple pics of your baby and post in the plant problems section, be sure to include all details of her current growing conditions.
