im startin my plants indoors for two weeks then transfering them into five gallon buckets outside what should the light ratio be starting them inside??
The first week or so they don't need much. Its after that you want you want your lights fairly close. I have always had good luck with 18/6 but you can leave the light on 24/7 if you want.
The deal is when you go to put them outside you want to let them get used to the new light by putting them outside for a couple hours a day to "harden off"
Do that for two or three days increasing the time and they will do fine.
