seed shipping charges

Sannie's shop charged me $6.17 for s/h (+ $4.77 surcharge)...but if you order three packs you get free shipping, so only have to pay the surcharge. Attitude was $13.64 for my last order (but I didn't request the guarantee stealth delivery this time...that's an additional $10.64). Nirvana s/h was $11.87 on my last order (two packs). And Herbie's pick n mix was $11.45 my last time.

These are the sites I've used most lately. Haven't had a problem at all with delivery from any of them.

Ive tried a few auction sites recently...seedbay and trichomekings. I think both of them only charge five or six bucks for s/h...but they don't take cc's so I sent cash (small order, just to see if they would actually ship them). Got my orders from both places, but took a week or two longer than any of the above.

Breedbay's shipping to the USA is only $5. I've used them a number of times and have always gotten my order in about 10 days. When Elite was in action I think his was only $5 as well and it arrived in about 4 days. Pot Pimp was also $5, but it took 3 months and a bunch of emails asking where my order was to get them. Attitude has the highest, and it seems to me like they are making a nice profit from padding the shipping cost, but my orders from them usually arrive in about 7-10 days.

Thanks for the replies, I ve been to some of the seed bank sites and you really dont know what the shipping is untill checkout, just wanted to get and idea on what to exspect on shipments from europe

I ordered a pack of Emerald Triangle Cherry OG from Attitude during the April promotional and chose NOT to pay for the guaranteed delivery this time. Just got my seeds today (so pretty much the same shipping time as WITH the guarantee) with no problems (and saved myself about $10.60 in s/h). Received a free five-pack of Bubba 76...plus three more free Emerald Triangle beans and one Buddha bean, too. Pretty sweet...

I'll probly try the "non-guaranteed" shipping again on my next order as well. I figure as long as I only order one or two packs at a time, if they do get "lost" in the mail I won't be out too much money. So far, so good, though...

Just a quick update here. I received my ET Cherry OG + freebies from Attitude without a hitch...roughly same delivery time as when I've used the "guaranteed shipping option."

Placed another order on Apr 17th for the DNA CannaSutra + free Mekong Haze promo....same delivery option, no guaranteed shipping. Received my beans today, so even slightly quicker than usual. Arrived in breeders packs with no visible signs of damage.

So far, then, my last two orders were without the shipping guarantee and worked just fine. In the future, I will likely not choose the guaranteed shipping (and thus save myself $10+ in extra shipping charges) if I'm ordering less than $100 worth of beans. Anything over, and I'd probly be tempted to pay for the guarantee just so I don't risk losing too much for the gamble. So far, though, I've had no problems ordering this way...and already saved myself more than twenty bucks.
