Hey guys,
So i germinated my seed 1 Day ago and then i putted him in a jiffy pellet. Then i placed it in a cup with plastic wrap over it on a heater. Today this evening i watched my jiffy pellet, and the seed was on top of the jiffy pellet again and little bit of a root i saw too. Did the seed pop out of my jiffy pellet already. I covered the the root with soil again ( The root is slightly bend, like it is grown downward) but the seed is still lying on top of my jiffy pellet, should i put some soil over the seed too to protect it from the light or only the root and let the Seed still lying on top?

Heelp

first of all: stop touching your seedling so much, youre going to kill it. germinate the seed, once you have a small tap root sticking out then you plant it half inch under the soil. keep it humid, not on ha heater, and under some light. dont touch it and dont water in until the soil is dry.

Normally the root will grow up first until it sences the light, do a 180 and head back down. then the top pops up. You say it's curleing, but some dirt on top to make sure it goes down. Peat pellets are also a no/no for seeds. Put the next ones right into a small pot of dirt. Add lots/intence light, yup and water it good to begin then nothing until it sprouts.
