Seed pollination, trait question

So I'll be starting a PC grow, aside from the N.lights I'll be growing, I'm thinking of 1 - 2 lowryder. My question is, assuming one of the N.lights is male, I'd like to cross the strains, BUT is the dwarf gene in lowryder dominant or will the N.lights make the seeds become "regular" height.

Also, same question but for auto flowering, is an auto flowering strain dominant or recessive?

its like trying to get the traits of midgets.....forget it...

Ok, so I imagine I'd need both mother and father to be shorties, cool.

Another question though, what about purple strains? Will the mother OR father most likely pass on the purple traits? I'm about to get some Dutch Passion Purple and a Blue Cheese, wanting to sex both of these for some PHAT seeds for the future, but I'd like to keep the purple trait. The seeds I'd be crossing with are either N.lights or Afghani. to sum that up

Nothern Lights x Passion (or blue cheese) = a purple plant?
Afghani x Passion Purple = a purple?

thanks

When you cross the two plants or strains, ex: NL x Passion all of their traits will be passed on in the seeds that they produce. (Actually I'm not 100% sure if recessive traits are passed on or just dominant traits,) but there is a very, very large possibility of combinations of genes, or traits, that will come out of the seeds produed by the two plants that were crossed. That being said, when you cross NL and Passion purple, let's say you get 35 seeds. All of those seeds will have different traits in them. Some will be big, some will be small, some will be resinous, some not, and some will be purple and some will be green. Just depends but u gotta grow em all out to see which ones are the keepers. I would also suggest maybe crossing your best male and female purple passion plants if your just really goin for purple. Chances are youll get a dank purple outta that. Good luck. And I'm not sure if female plants pass their traits on better than males I would assume not dont quote me though.

Thanks alot for all that info, lol look I quoted you on that. But yeah, I'm only getting 1 feminized passion purple seed, and 1 feminized blue cheese (the n.lights / afhgani are regular) both have purple traits so hopefully between the two, one will be FULL of dem purps.
