Hi all,

I recently pollinated some autoflowers... Need a seed supply. How long after the seeds are ready should I wait to plant them... I have been told I should allow them to dry a few weeks. I have waited a few days, tried to germinate and they is not poppin... suggetions?

they do need some time to 'ripen', i'm not sure how long, but it's more tan a few days
i think i read a cold cycle can speed this up, but not sure

should be allowed to dry week or so
but if matured will pop right away also key word here is matured
seed must stay with host until matured not small not white
full sized and darker in coler
can speed dry on plate with rice and a little heat like top of frig

The plants were all dying off, and the pods were splitting open... some seeds even fell to the ground... they are dark with stripes on them... similar to this:

been germinating a couple for several days and nothing ... :(
i've yet to seed up a plant yet, maybe soon
but i have seen some other posts complaining of this, fresh seeds don't sprout
but this makes a bit of sense when you think of the cannabis life cycle
seeds ripen and fall off in the fall, if they begin to germinate in the fall, they're screwed, there needs to be a mechanism to prevent this from happening

yea, i think they need time... they have been germing for a few days now and just starting to sprout... I am very happy... lol... so to all who read this... make sure you let your seeds sit and dry for a week... and when you germ, make sure you keep em nice and warm... i switched them to the basement near heater and they started poppin within hours
