seed germination

just wandering does the water the seeds are floating in have to be ph'd to 5.5-6?, have them in a glass of ordinary tap water in the dark

I'm curious myself. I've always used just plain tap water with great success. My water here is always between 6.9 and 7.2.

id say its spot on, just on the off chance, like things to be 100%
