Just wondering out of curiosity, is anybody concerned about the cops watching these sites, and then trying to hunt down people by way of their IP address. Not a computer genius, but just wondering.

Use security then.. VPN, Tor, ProxyTunnels etc

Nah....It's a waste of resource's for a couple plant's....My state just went med in the last year and w/a card you can have up too 6 plant's....W/o less then 5 is a misdemeanor....Maybe, if your a bigtimer.....HS might be a different story

Even tracking my real IP it shows me in a city quite a substantial distance away ...I think there's a lil more effort that would have to be put in then just checking your IP??

I'd advise investing in a VPN then, they are the best bet but there normally is a monthly charge attached to them. Try AirVPN. https://airvpn.org/

were pretty secure as a website, no one in the history of riu has to our knowledge ever been busted by this website and we've been up since 2006
if you do use a vpn or tor it will probably mess with how the website runs its basically another spam filter we have

Well, I'm here and I'm chaning through a Botnet and using a VPN
I work in the Security and Forensics industry, so I have OCD when it comes to online security and privacy.

Yep, better safe than sorry though. That's the best way to go about it in my oppinion
But I've seen people sell weed from their real accounts on Facebook without getting raided... So they prob dont really care about weed growers.

they do care about weed growers its just the blind eye they turn.....hush hush all the way

Well, Didn't the attorney general come out this year and say that they will not pursue or prosecute people for growing weed in states where it's legal to for whatever purposes? Local cop's dont have the resources

You SHOULD be aware that there is no security on the internet.

If you are comnected with terrorism then they'll sort you out regardless of proxies / vpn. Will they devote such resources to bust your puny grow? Methinks not.
