Secret Room

Hey

I'm thinking about turning my tv cabinet into a 1 plant room.

the cabinet looks like this

The cabinet has a door and back panel.
what i was planning on doing was putting the tree in the large area and drilling two large holes for the lights in the wooden gap between areas. the only concern is that im hardly at home and i dont want the lights to create a fire.

what kind of lights would i use?
would this setup work?
what else would i need to put in or consider?

iwould say og get a florecent grow light they put out alot of light but not alot of heat, and dont coast you alot on the electric bill, also have you thought of what type of fans your going to put in there, (also what are you going to do about the sound of the fans) and you will need a carbon filter you can find thos in air purifiers/cleaners. i have made and grow box out of a pc tower and a metal shelf. i can send you pic if you would like to see them? my next one i am going to biuld a box out of an old mini frig i got laying around here.

hey, yeah im interested in seeing the pc tower pics. im not sure what ill do with fans or anything like that, im new to indoor growing haha

You don't necessarily need a carbon filter. Use a duct fan for exhaust, and drill a couple holes in the bottom so fresh air can get in. If you have one fan sucking air out, then it will also suck in fresh air, provided that there are holes or some sort of way to have the fresh air come in.

that is very true i never really thought about it like that.
