Second time making BHO wax, Help please!

So I made BHO wax for the second time yesterday using the generic home made process and I had a question. So I was making my wax (approx. 9 grams of mid grade+ a gram of kief) and I noticed there were more bubbles then the first time I had done this. So I stopped releasing my butane before noticing what seemed to be a high pressure build up in my glass tube. As soon as I stopped relasing butane into my extraction tube and pulled the can of butane away from the top of the tube, all of the butane and wax quickly fell from the bottom. This doesn't seem normal to me... The first time I did this the butane slowly dripped into my bowl while releasing the butane at a moderate rate no prob.. Does this mean that I used to little flower? Or perhaps packed it to tight? Why didn't it drip like the first time?

I have never had that happen I normally use a glass tube with two unbleached coffee filters attached at the open end sounds to me like perhaps you packed it to tight you want it tight but not like a brick if that makes sense could possible be the consistency of your trim if it's a powder like consistency than that could clog up your tube I like to coursley grind my trim

This is definitely helpful, thank you! I've read a lot about that too, wether or not the trim needs to be grinded down fine or not. We did make it very fine, and the kief could've helped within clogging it. The weird part is, we actually didn't pack it too much at all. Especially being that there was such little nug to fill the entire glass jar.
