second Grow

We are newbies but we have done a lot of research. we are looking for some expert input on our second grow of Black Russian. We think we are 3 weeks from harvesting. We know about the tricome color but don't have a microscope powerful enough yet. The hairs are turning, but we feel we have some time to go. We are flowering under 400 watt hps.

you have some time to go. I can tell by zooming in that those are pretty much all clear still. I never use a scope, when the trichs are clear still, the buds have a sparkly look tothem in my exexperience, when they get mostly cloudy the plant looks more frosty or snowy and when they go way to long the buds will get an orange tint all over.

3/4 week left never go on the hairs,these can change for a multitude of reasons,wait on the crowning to finish this is crowing at it's very best

a cross i did of blue's x gdppbc,someone's bound to ask grand daddy platinum purp berry cookies,from johnson genetics ,no longer do this though,i have moved on from it friend still has the strain though,plus i have seed ,

ive always considered what's in that pic to be foxtailing and I tend to view it as a negative.

do all your strains do that eventually? because ive left most of my strains go way past recommended time and I dont get that unless they get too hot generally.
