Searching for guide to making THC vape/ecig juice

Is there some sort of definitive guide on RIU?

I've tried searching but can't find anything. All of the info outside of here is either too vague or conflicts with one another, this place has always been more trustworthy.

If there are multiple tutorials - the most preferable would be something to make a small batch with least steps, not looking for an out of this world end result. No idea what flower weight translates into juice weight, if someone could answer, that would be helpful.

Easiest way I know is squish some flower into rosin add some wax liquidizer a little heat and fill your cart

Best (cheaper) way I found was to make some BHO.

then dissolve the BHO into C8 MCT oil then add it into some authentic CCELL cartridges.

you can make QWISO and do it but you lose a fair amount of the flavour.

yeah if there were a rosin press around, this question wouldn't have been asked lol. was looking for details about using VG/PG/etc.

just researched bho. no way, thanks though.

guessing there really isn't anything on the forum so just going to do what was found online. vg, water bath, etc. thanks for taking the time to respond.

Stewing decarb’d product in VG doesn’t extract much at all.

like I said best cost versus benefit is BHO and then dissolved into C8 MCT.

I’m a vaper myself and mix my own liquids for vaping normally.

yes, that makes sense.

only cost here though would be the vg, so not worried about waste. would also prefer a 'lighter' end product. thanks for the heads up about it not extracting much, didn't realize that. any tips on increasing? for example - instructions say to basically decarb in water bath. would decarbing in oven prior as well help? no biggie if not.

I also make e-liquid, and everything I’ve read says not to vape MCT oil.
 
Supercritical co2 extraction labs are available online for varying prices as well as bho extractors co2 will produce mostly distillate bho extraction would have to be distilled or otherwise separated from the other waxes and lipids. I've done a lot of research on this

Everything I’ve read says C8 MCT is one of the best to cut it with.
Tried PEG400 Ew no
Tried straight PG too harsh
Tried straight VG and you get separation.

I’ve only made this a handful of times.

I’m open to more reading tho if you want to share anything?

It seems to be much more blurry and harder to find actual scientific data than the last time I researched MCT oil about two years ago. I just googled it and notice all of the sites that said it was safe were weed sites and nothing from medical sites.

Look up "lipid pneumonia," "vitamin E" and "acetaldehyde" in relationship to MCT oil. I could be wrong, but I did a deep dive last time and found charts on heavy lipid producing oils. It contains vitamin E, which was blamed for all of those people getting sick and dying a couple of years ago. Acetaldehyde is produced by heating MCT oil.

Thanks buddy I’ll look more into it.

the trouble we have is since that outbreak caused by Vitamin E acetate of black market THC carts it’s caused quite a stir.

when researching myself about 3 years ago I found MCT to be the safest out of PEG200/300/400 which is what a product was using for their THC juice liquidiser.

i found PEG400 to be very plastic in flavour.

I’ve read all about lipid pneumonia from Vit E acetate etc but nothing that was linked directly to C8 MCT.

literally it’s a couple of drops of C8 to loosen off a 0.5g shatter for fluidity in a cart.

I’ll keep looking but at the moment all I see is “plausible” that it could cause issues.

I guess when your mixing eliquids you don’t use any DIKETONES either?

Some of my flavoring has a little. The popcorn lung argument is ridiculous though. There’s like 100 times more diacetyl in regular tobacco than is used in e liquid flavorings. And no actual cases linked to vaping the last time I checked.

yep fully agree. Currently got a fruit circles with Capella custard, VBIC and Bavarian cream lol.
Loaded lol.

All I know is I get them from Amazon and put a couple of drops in my bho then into the carts it goes simple easy and clean. It's what all of the premium cart makers use as well.
