Sealed Room and Airflow questions. High Co2 consumption.

Hello all.

I recently designed a sealed grow area with co2 enrichment. I used a 20lb canister of co2 with a regulator connected to a Titan co2 monitor / controller set to 1500ppm. I have 24 plants total, 20 in early flower 4 in veg. In just over a week the tank was empty. The rooms are sealed well. Is this typical for co2 usage? The way I have my air circulation setup I wonder if alot of my co2 is getting trapped in my veg room? Seeing as my controller and monitor are one unit I have no way of measuring co2 in both rooms at the same time.

If anyone can give me any advice on what I might be doing wrong? My veg room is roughly 8'x10' and my flower room is roughly 8'x16'. I have a 440cfm pulling air from the flower room through a carbon filter than into my veg room. Air from my veg room moves back to the flower room through a passive intake which is just 6" ducting, co2 is measured and controlled near this intake vent in the flower room.

I run a sealed room and a 20 lb tank at 1500 lasts 1 month, at 1200, a month and a half. I really think you're not as sealed as you think.

I'm not sure what I can do to seal things up any better... I gutted the room and put up new drywall, caulked all my seams, walls and ceilings are covered with panda filmed and all seams are sealed with gorilla tape, I have no exhausts pulling air out of my grow room... doors are covered by plastic with tarp zippers to create additional seal.

I covered the drywall with 3/8" fiberboard paneling with trim pieces over all seams... and there's panda film covering that with all seams sealed with gorilla tape. Doubt the lack of a vapor barrier is making any difference. Adding a vapor barrier isn't an option at this point.

co2 is heavier than air and tends to settle near the floor. All your vents are near the ceiling, so the co2 is being poorly circulated.

co2 in veg is more beneficial, or so I've heard. I keep a fan on the floor blowing up to keep the co2 mixed evenly, but I only have one room (tent really) This also keeps the co2 in the foliage instead of just at container level. I can't really speak from experience on your problem.

co2 is beneficial through the whole grow why plants are awake. you need to increase o2 levels when increasing co2. outside air is less than 1% Co2, about 400 ppm. and there is 20% o2, about 200,000 ppm's so consider those ratios.

nitrogen makes up over 70% of the air too.

Did some checking tonight... RH, Temp, and co2 ppm are the same in both veg and flower rooms so I have to assume my air circulation is doing the job. Spent some more time eliminating any possible air leaks... hope I see a big improvement!
